Cansei de Ser Sexy is the name of an album by the Brazilian group Cansei de Ser Sexy. It was released on October 9, 2005 by Trama in Brazil, where it reportedly sold 5,000 copies and failed to chart. A limited edition version of the album had a CD-R included. The purpose of this was that the buyer could burn a copy of the album onto the CD-R to give to someone else as a gift, paying homage to the effects of digital technology upon the dissemination and popularization of music. An international album, also called Cansei de Ser Sexy, was released by the band in 2006 with a similar track listing.
The song "Alala" and video for "Let's Make Love and Listen to Death From Above" have been included preloaded on the Zune multimedia player, released in November 2006.[citation needed]
The songs "Alala" and "Off The Hook" are featured in Forza Motorsport 2 and FIFA 08, videogames for the XBOX 360.[1]
The song "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex" was featured in a Zune advertisement in 2006 and an iPod touch advertisement in 2007.
