Canoe & Kayak UK Magazine is Britain's best-selling canoeing magazine, dedicated to covering as many different aspects of the sport as possible, attracting novices, youngsters, specialists and the experienced paddler. The editor, Jason Smith, represented Great Britain at the World Canoe Freestyle Championships, and so the magazine is written by canoeists, for canoeists.

Regular contributors include Steve 'Black Dog' Butler, who specialises in testing gear for the team; Deb Pinniger, a major competition winner, including becoming UK, European and World Champion; Jim Evans, the gear researcher, and also the 2007 organiser for the Peak UK Challenge events; Lucinda Manouch, a writer and photographer who splits her time between Plas Y Brenin National Mountain Centre and her work as a photo journalist; Colin 'Wiggy' Fisher, the team tester; Ed Smith, the freestyle correspondant; and James Weir, who simply put is passionate about Canadian canoes.

The magazine includes features from canoeists and kayakers around the world, detailing their adventures and advice. There is also advice about techinques, gadgets and the best gear for the hobby. It is a monthly publication, often including supplements such as 'Paddlers Guide to Wales' and the specialist 'Sea Kayaking' supplement.

Canoe & Kayak UK magazine opened in 2001, and is owned by Warners Group Publications plc of Bourne, Lincolnshire.

Currently the circulation figure stands at 18,000 per month. The publication is popular with clubs due to the training that is included in the features; the magazine features many articles for the younger audience, as well as the experienced paddler.

The Canoe & Kayak UK website was relaunched in June 2007, and now includes many interactive features; a forum for canoeists to chat about their latest adventure; a blog section; a gallery to upload canoe photos; and also many features and articles.
