Carlos "Cano" Estremera Colón (born 2 September 1958[1]) is a Puerto Rican Salsa singer who is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Estremera, who is an albino,[1] practiced his craft while residing in Residencial Las Casas,[citation needed] a public housing complex in the area of Santurce, not far from Trastalleres, where Daniel Santos, Andy Montanez and Ossie Ocasio were born.

In 1978, Estremera joined Bobby Valentín and recoded 6 albums before stating his own band in 1984.[1]

Estremera became famous by 1989, year in which he began to tour all over Latin America.[citation needed] He enjoyed wild success in Puerto Rico as well as in Brazil and Peru, among other places.

His 2003 CD release celebrated his twenty years in the music industry.

Estremera plans to get married on June 10, 2007 to Yamira.[citation needed]
