Canjica (dish)

Canjica is a sweet dish very popular during Festa Junina. The dish is a porridge or corn mush made of canjica kernels, coconut, peanuts, milk, sugar, cinnamon and some times sweet condensed milk. It is served in individual bowls.
Canjica is similar to American grits.
