Canillas de Albaida, Málaga

Canillas de Albaida is a pretty mountain village in the Spanish region of Axarquía in the province of Málaga.

The village, with a population of approximately 700, sits at an altitude of 576 metres in the Sierra de Almijara mountain range and is 21 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast. Approximately 3 kilometres away is the town of Competa, a popular summer tourist destination.
