Canelli (Canèj in Piedmontese), is a commune with a population of 10,311 in the province of Asti, in the Italian region Piedmont. It lies on the torrent Belbo, on the borders between the hills of Asti and the Langa proper.
The neighbouring communes are Bubbio, Calamandrana, Calosso, Cassinasco, Loazzolo, Moasca and San Marzano Oliveto in the province of Asti and Santo Stefano Belbo in the province of Cuneo.
