Canberra Secondary School is a government secondary school in Sembawang, Singapore. The school was established in 2000 and it is located at 51 Sembawang Road.

The school was founded on January 2000 with Mr Puvan Ariaratnam as the first principal. Canberra Secondary was among the 13 new secondary schools which opened on 3 January 2000. Canberra Secondary was housed in Sembawang Secondary's premises at Sembawang Crescent before it moved to its own school at 51 Sembawang Road. The astute principal has guided the school towards carving a niche of excellence in information technology (IT) and multimedia. He was succeeded by Mr Tan Keng Joo in 2006. The school was the first school which used ezlink card for buying food but it was deemed as inconvinient by the students and was abolished in 2007 with much reluctance.

There's also the letter 'i' which stands for Information Technology and Innovation (being a millennium school).

- Mr. S. Sivaganesh was crowned the Singapore's Brainiest Teacher in 2003 in a TV gameshow.
- Ms. Joyce Lee was awarded the Outstanding History Teacher Award in 2005.
[edit] Internal School Programmes
Academic
Own Your Learning programme (OYL) is carried out to acquire students with a good studying practice and getting the student to strategize to achieve goals. Personal reflections are carried out weekly to monitor their own progress with the guidance of their teachers. Students are mainly guided in terms of time management and a good study environment.
Excellence Programme is an after-school programme catering to upper secondary students with the purpose of covering the topics in the syllabus and strengthening their understanding. The programme is carried out everyday of the week. It is a flexible programme where teachers have the choice of dealing with weaker students only or holding mock examinations.
Non-academic
Apart from the Co-curricular Activities, the students are actively involved in activities leadership camps, school exchanges with foreign schools and internal school activities organized by the student counselors. Sports and Arts Festival are held yearly at the CCAB where sports tournament are held yearly. These efforts seek to foster a vibrant environment and enthusiastic spirit within the students. Besides, teachers and students work hand in hand catching students who involve in smoking, fighting and other illegal activities.

Canberra Secondary School also published it's inaugural issue of yearbook on Year 2008.The yearbook contained some of the school's achievements and interesting happenings, it was also made mandatory for all students including graduates(2007) to purchase it. The yearbook was only given to the graduates(2007) who brought it reluctantly when they collected their results.
