Canalside Studios

Canalside Studios is a games company within the University of Huddersfield. The studio is permanently manned by a core team of 8 placement students, but all students on the school's computer games courses contribute content through projects and get their name in the credits.

It was founded in 2006 to aid the professional development of computer games students, within the industry.
In 2007 Canalside Studios achieved 2nd place the XNA Dream Build Play competition ran by Microsoft with a game called Yo Ho Kablammo!
