Canadians of Danish descent

According to the 2006 Census, there were 200,035 Canadians with Danish background[1]. Most have settled in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Thanks to postwar immigration, Vancouver has one of the largest Danish community outside of Denmark, with 22,800 people of Danish descent as of 2006. Although, Calgary proportionally has the largest Danish population in Canada, with 1.7% of it's residents having some Danish origins.
