The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is an independent, not-for-profit organization in Canada, primarily funded by the provincial and federal governments of Canada. CIHI collects and maintains a number of datasets from across Canada that are relevant to Canada's healthcare system. CIHI also regularly produces a number of specialized and public reports, and works closely with governments to assist them in understanding their health systems.

CIHI data is supplied by hospitals, regional health authorities, medical practitioners and governments. Other sources provide further data to help inform CIHI’s in-depth analytic reports.
