The ninth annual Canadian Comedy Awards take place in Regina, Saskatchewan from October 2-5, 2008. The awards ceremony takes place on the evening of October 4, 2008.
This marks the first year the awards will be held outside of Ontario. Previous Canadian Comedy Awards ceremonies took place in Toronto (2000-2002) before moving to London, Ontario (2003-2007).
Nominations were announced at an industry luncheon at Second City in Toronto on June 3, 2008.
