The Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (or CCAA) is the national governing body for college sports in Canada. It was formed in 1974. The CCAA awards national championships in nine different sports. Its equivalent body for university sports is Canadian Interuniversity Sport. However, some smaller universities are members of both bodies for different sports.
