Canada-Lebanon relations

Canada established diplomatic relations with Lebanon in 1954. The two countries exchanged ambassadors in 1958. The relations between the two states are rooted by the Lebanese community in Canada, which numbers close to 350,000, and the Canadian diaspora in Lebanon.

Canada contributed $30.5 million in aid to Lebanon following the 2006 July war and announced a countribution of $20 million to support the government of Fouad Siniora at the International Conference of Support to Lebanon.
