"Can You Feel It" was a hit recording by funk and soul group The Jacksons, recorded in March 1980 and released in September 1980 as the first track on their album Triumph.
Written by brothers Jackie and Michael, the song featured solo leads by Randy and Michael. The song reached #2 in The Netherlands in 1981.[1]
The single was sampled by Tamperer featuring Maya for their 1998 dance hit "Feel It". It was also interpolated in the 2007 song "Carry Feelings" by South Rakkas Crew and T.O.K.
The song again rose to prominence when in 2006, psycho-illusionist Derren Brown used the song along with various other psychological motivators to convince a group of 4 people to each commit a bank robbery by their own free will. The song was also featured on Jane Fonda's early 80's work out VHS tapes.
