[edit] The Three Robbers

Hi! The article The Three Robbers was deleted because it was unreferenced and did not provide enough context to assess whether the topic met Wikipedia's inclusion guidelines. I've copied the text of the entry below. If it can be amended (including reliable, independent sourcing) to demonstrate that the topic meets the Wikipedia:Notability (books) guideline, please feel free to recreate the entry.--ragesoss 02:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

(In response to your email) It was deleted by JzG on January 1, 2007, then after it was recreated, JzG added a Proposed deletion tag to the article. I deleted it after 5 days had passed (which is the procedure for proposed deletion) because it was an unsourced article that did not make clear the topic's significance. A Google search is not sufficient justification to keep an unsourced article of unknown significance; it must have references. See Wikipedia:Verifiability. Ideally, the article should be based on published reviews and other independent sources.--ragesoss 03:22, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Because the article was deleted through proposed deletion, I have restored it based on your complaint. However, it is likely to be deleted again at some point unless references are added.--ragesoss 16:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Instructor Moosesha

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Instructor Moosesha, by Oysterguitarist (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Instructor Moosesha seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Wikipedia really doesn't need individual articles on Little Einsteins characters. If you think there's valuable information to add about these characters, please consider adding it to that article instead. However, there is probably more than enough information on the characters; it is, after all, a kids' show. Further recreations of these articles will be deleted, and you risk blocking if you continue. android79 03:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Okay, last warning. Please stop recreating these articles, or you will be blocked for a short time. android79 04:00, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A Round of Days

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article A Round of Days, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of A Round of Days. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 20:07, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.angelfire.com/grrl/disney2004/SWwashingsong.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:48, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adding Lyrics To Aticles

Please read [[1]] about adding lyrics. Wikisource is a far better repository for such content than wikipedia. Wikipedia is for information about the song, not for the lyrics to the song, or the acutal song itself (though you may upload a sample 30 seconds in length or 10% of the total song length, whichever is shorter. For more infromation about that see the Non-Free Use rationale guideline.). Anyways, hope this clarified things abit. -- Nn123645 (talk) 17:11, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Musical Notebooks, you will be blocked from editing. This also applies to the additional 12 articles [2] you created for each track on the album. All of them have now been proposed for deletion as well as the article on the album itself. The original article on the album provides no context, no references, and does not even assert notability, let alone prove it. Voceditenore (talk) 06:27, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Re the comments on CameronPG's user page: I am not an administrator and have no power to block editors. The warning I used comes from a standard template. It allows administrators to see if an editor has been warned sufficiently before they consider blocking, and normally the blocking is only temporary.
The problem is that he seems to be creating literally dozens of articles on non viable-subjects, e.g. for every song on a non-notable album, Musical Notebooks.
I did some research on the album (and the artist) before I tagged it for deletion as did the other editors who have been tagging his pages since December 22nd. The subjects would most assuredly not pass Wikipedia's notability criteria. In addition, the article doesn't even assert the subject's notability, i.e., why it is worthy of an encyclopedia article. This assertion and references to back it up are a key requirement for Wikpedia articles.
As can be seen above, he has also recently added copyright lyrics to songs which had to be deleted by another editor: Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum. I also deleted the copyright lyrics he added to Oo-De-Lally.
I'm sure that given the situation described on the user page, he meant no intentional harm or vandalism. However, this type of editing can nevertheless be very disruptive and takes up a lot of editors' and administrators' time, as they have to go through all his articles deleting unconstructive edits and sometimes whole articles. Whatever the reason for it, administrators sometimes have to block editors temporarily to stop the disruption, but certainly not to 'punish' them. Best Wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 07:56, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Moon Man

A tag has been placed on Moon Man requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
