[edit] e-mail
- Received your e-mail at last. But why go to the trouble of e-mail. There was nothing in it that could not be stated here. I was assuming you were going to give me confidential info. to demonstrate that you "have no affiliation with the company" but you made no attempt to do so. The operative phrase from your e-mail is "delete the pages if you need to". Just to confirm that, perhaps you would like to add {{db-author}} at the top of Savoy, Nick and for Love Systems, please log on as TruthToPower69 and apply the same tag. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 07:49, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
I am not Truth to Power. And I'd be happy to proviude whatever documentation you wish; can you suggest what kind of documentation it would be that would prove a negative? Camera123456 (talk) 22:59, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm sure I'm doing this in the wrong place and I'm sure that your reply will focus on that instead of on any substantive issues, but:
1) I'm not sure why you accuse me of being TruthtoPower. I don't think pointless accusations help here. Would you like to tell me what evidence you have of this? 2) You want me to prove I have no association with Love Systems. Can you describe A) what kind of proof you would find acceptable and B) what the impact of that will be.
Why all the sarcasm and bitterness. What's your agenda? What the hell did I do to you? I'm trying to cooperate with all of this and just keep getting accusations and abuse.
Camera123456 (talk) 23:03, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place for your comment. I am moving it here just to keep the thread together.
- 1) Look at User:Bixolon. This gives the names of six users all of whom have made no other edits except to Savoy / Love Systems articles. Now I find it very hard to believe that these are really six different people who have all quite independently found their way to these articles. What do you think?
- 2) Affiliation. You started this by stating "I ... can prove it on request". So I was hoping you would have some ideas. When you mentioned e-mail, I assumed you were going to tell me (in confidence, which would be respected) your real name and occupation. The impact would, I thought, be obvious: to show that you are not here purely to advertise Nick Savoy.
- "Sarcasm and bitterness". Oh really? I thought I was being less sarcastic than usual! My agenda is simple, to maintain the standards of Wikipedia. I may have misread the situation but what I saw was a single purpose account pushing their pet topic and using sock puppets to puff up an AfD - and I am still unconvinced that this was not the case.
- The AfDs have closed with Nick Savoy being kept and Love Systems being deleted. I accept that and am willing to close this discussion. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 00:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Continuing the topic of what looks to me like sock puppetry (whatever it may in fact be). On March 26 WikiPUA created the Nick Savoy article. Seven hours later you edited it. On March 29 TruthToPower69 created Love Systems. Eight hours later you edited that one. Now you might manage to persuade me that you are a different person from WikiaPUA and TruthToPower69 but you will have a much harder task making me believe that you had been watching Wikipedia waiting for these titles to appear. Come clean: if it ain't sock puppetry, there is at least some connection. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 04:05, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I saw a post on The Attraction Forums saying a Love Systems page was up. I presume everyone else who came saw the same post. There are like 50,000 people on that forum. 20:29, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AFD
I closed it because there was consensus to do so, on the other one, there was a different consensus as determined by the closing admin. You are welcome to request a deletion review. Keilana|Parlez ici 01:17, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I hope that all admins are polite, they really should be. :) Anyways, there are several ways to let you get the article back. First, you could recreate the article with your new sources. It would probably be fine. Alternatively, I could put into a place like User:Camera123456/Sandbox where you could work on the article, then move it to the mainspace. The final option is a deletion review. I should warn you, though, only the actual propriety of the close is discussed there, not the merits of the article, so I wouldn't recommend it in this case. :) If you want me to restore it to a sandbox, just let me know and I'll do it as soon as I get online. Happy editing! Keilana|Parlez ici 23:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've restored it to your userspace. I'd recommend speaking to the admin who deleted the article, they will discuss it with you. If you need help, just let me know. :) Regards, Keilana|Parlez ici 21:37, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's in User:Camera123456/Sandbox. Would you like Nick Savoy in there as well? Who are you having issues with? I'd suggest you ask your question politely again, they may be quite busy. Best, Keilana|Parlez ici 23:59, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hi
I'd be happy to try and help but due to horrible stuff going on IRL, I'm not going to be around much for a while.
Four suggestions:
1) WP:AGF. Push it to the limit. And ask others to do the same. Tell the admin it's hard to prove a negative. (Just ask Sadam Hussein where his weapons of mass destruction are!) 2) Don't use inflammatory language about others. Admins don't generally "stalk" anyone - if he's flapping around you, it's because he has genuine concerns. 3) Ask the admin to request a checkuser, which will quickly ascertain if there's sockpuppetry going on 4) If you're still stuck, drop User:The Rambling Man a note, with my apologies for adding to his to-do list!
Good luck.

[edit] Love systems etc
Hello Camera123456. Thanks for your message. Sounds like you've been through the mill a bit here in your short time on Wikipedia and I'm sorry to see that. What I would say is that the admin in question is simply doing his/her best to maintain the policies of the Wikipedia and protect it from abuse. However, sometimes this can appear to be like you're being picked on. What I would say is that should you wish to recreate an article then you need to ensure your article meets WP:BIO. This is our policy for notability of people. If you can be sure your subject meets WP:BIO and you can prove it (verify it using reliable sources) then there should be no problem. I would advise you to start working in your own sandbox, you can create one by editing the following red link. Should you get to a point where you think the article is suitable for inclusion in the main part of Wikipedia, can I suggest you request an independent review from someone, probably a good choice would be an uninvolved, friendly administrator. They'll give you feedback on what to do next. Hope that helps. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- hi, I replied on my talk page regarding Savoy. I'm happy to help out with tips and point out when you are or are not going in the right direction etc... Mathmo Talk 09:58, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sandbox
I don't think I had put it in there, sorry. It's in User:Camera123456/Sandbox2. Keilana|Parlez ici 12:51, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
