[edit] Mustang Logo Picture

Hey, do you guys know how I can get the picture of the mustang off the Campus homepage? Can I just take it, or is it copyrighted? The Nature Guy 22:48, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I'm sure it is copyrighted by someone, whether that be the school itself, the CCSD, or someone else, I'm not sure. You might start by paying a visit to the office at the school (if you're a student there), and asking if they can direct you to the right person to ask. Alternatively, you could email the principal or a counselor and ask if he or she can put you in touch with an agent of the copyright holder. Once you find someone who actually has the authority to license the image, you'll want to send an email like these permission requests to ask that he or she license the image under the GFDL. Only when it has been released under the GFDL or a similar license can we use the image here.
I know it sounds complicated, but once you've done a couple image requests it becomes quite simple. If you have any other questions or if I can help in any way, feel free to leave me a message at my talk page, and I'll get back to you! PaladinWhite 16:22, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
