[edit] Please give me at least a week....

... as I am asking friends who went to Roosevelt for help in beefing up this page. Give them at least a week to respond to my request for help and for edits to be made. Postcard Cathy 21:19, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Other summer camp articles....

have similar amounts of information and are not up for deletion. Let alone up for deletion as soon as seconds after it is saved. I would like to know why the criteria is applied in a seeming haphazard way. Camp sites that have been up for a long time with the same or similar information are not marked and this one, up for less than 5 minutes, is marked. Wouldn't it be a reasonable idea to wait a day or two before marking something for deletion to give people time to find the page and if they can, add to the page before considering it not notable?

What I am trying to say is it would be nice if the criteria were applied evenly to any page, regardless of the topic and that pages aren't marked so quickly. In this particular case, I was going on to the camp's website to find some information I could use and saved the page so I didn't lose it in case I made a mistake or lost my internet connection. If a page is going to be marked, I would appreciate if the pages weren't marked so quickly! Postcard Cathy 22:08, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Camprooseveltbanner.gif

Image:Camprooseveltbanner.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
