[edit] Kuringgai vs Awabakal
It's somewhat unclear as to whether the Kuringgai was a legitimate grouping of Aboriginal people. Norman Tindale notes the Eora as members of the Awabakal tribe, centred on Lake Macquarie near Newcastle. Any clarification welcome.
