Talk:Camille Doncieux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Camille story was very sad.
When it comes to her death..,there is a mistery , I guess. In wikipedia it is said she dies of tuberculosis quote
In that same year, he moved to the village of Vétheuil. Madame Monet died of tuberculosis in 1879.
end of quote
In the scotsman bio they do not mention the cause of death. They just say :
By August 1879 she was unable to get out of bed or hold down any food, and Monet was looking after her full time.
end of quote.
Does tuberculosis symptons are the inability to hold food in the stomach ? (and probably vomiting ).
´Meanwhile in another site I read :
On 5 September 1879, Camille Doncieux dies of pelvic cancer at the age of 32. Monet paints her one last time: Camille on her Deathbed.
What killed Camille ? Tuberculosis, Pelvic cancer, both or none ?
I think that question should definetely be investigated.
I have another idea . Could she have died of arsenic poisoning?
Arsenic poisoning causes vomiting . That could explain camille inability to keep food in stomach
Many paints had arsenic.
Whatever the cause(wich remains a mystery ) its not right to claim that she died of tuberculosis.
