I'd add this to the article, but I don't have the sources (I attended, graduated from, and taught at Marshall throughout the 80's and remember these so clearly). Other Henderson Center headaches:

The uruthane floor were so hard on the legs of the basketball players that by the 1984-1985 season, a hardwood floor had to be installed on top of the urathane one (Bruce Morris' footprints were painted on both floors to commemorate the 89-plus foot buzzer beating shot).

At least one season of indoor track at Marshall had to be cancelled due to cracks in the uruthane.
