Campanário is a parish in the district of Ribeira Brava in the Madeira Islands. The population in 2001 is 4,131, its density is 350.1/km² and the area is 11.8 km². It is located east of Calheta and west of the island's biggest city, Funchal. The main industry is agriculture. It is connected with road linking. The Atlantic Ocean is to the south. The mountains are to the north with a mountaintop elevating 1,437 m to the north. Forests cover most of the parish. Grasslands and barren land cover the rest of Campanário and contain several streams and mountain roads. The embankment of Cabo Girão is aligned to the south. The municipality of Câmara de Lobos is bounded to the east.
