Camp Jam Co., headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a consortium of innovative music-experience programs specifically created to teach teamwork and enrich lives through rock ‘n’ roll. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Carlisi, founder and former guitarist of 38 Special (band), and business partner Dan Lipson, Camp Jam Co. offers a variety of experiences for musicians of all ages and all skill levels. Camp Jam Co. is the most comprehensive grouping of rock ‘n’ roll programs in America, and its camps have been attended by musicians from all across the U.S. and from as far away as the Middle East and Europe.

[edit] Camp Jam
Camp Jam is a rock ‘n’ roll summer day camp for kids and teens (in 14 cities in 2007). This camp alternative provides teens a place to convene with other aspiring musicians, bands, and vocalists, honing their musical chops by learning from and performing with professional musicians with experience in the industry while at the same time promoting skills such as teamwork and communication. The camp is five days long and has instruction in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals as well as a songwriting clinic, an open mic showcase, a class on performance skills and a course in audio engineering and production. Sessions currently take place in Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Scottsdale, AZ; St. Louis, MO; and Washington, DC. The Atlanta branch was the original city that Camp Jam initially debuted in and it, in particular, has had an excellent list of employees, including Jesse Owen Astin of Like Clockwork and Cooper Carter and Ben Williams of Cooper Carter and The Royal Senders and If I Told You Once.
[edit] Camp Jam KIDZ
Camp Jam KIDZ is a summer day camp program for children ages 7 - 10 (same cities as Camp Jam - new in 2007) and gives them the chance to play the instrument of their choice under the watchful eyes of the camp counselors. The same set-up and experience as the older campers but with a more hands-on focus from the instructors as they prepare the kids for their very first gig at the end of the week where they perform on stage with a real rock band.

Camp Jam’s Ultimate Rock 'n' Roll Get-A-Way is a rock and roll experience for adults which includes 4 days of jamming on stage and hanging out with legendary rockers at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, OH.

Camp Jam INC is a corporate rock ‘n’ roll team building experience that offers companies and corporate teams a crash course in becoming a band. From determining the roles of each member to naming the band, choosing songs and coming together for a performance, this experience is designed to help stimulate creativity, foster cooperation and build team trust as the group prepares for their final show. No musical experience is necessary, as team members will learn directly from professional musicians. The program follows a designed curriculum and is facilitated by a certified corporate trainer to ensure each team achieves their fullest potential.

Camp Jam Studios is a full-service rehearsal and concert facility in Atlanta, GA that houses a large number of fully equipped rehearsal rooms and provides guitar, bass, drum and vocal lessons for all levels of experience. Camp Jam Studios also offers Saturday Rock 'n' Roll Matinee, where individual musicians under the age of 18 gather, match up with like-minded musicians and start playing together with the intent of starting a band. This facility is also where Camp Jam Rock Star Fantasy Camp and Camp Jam KIDZ takes place.
