[edit] History
Camp El Tesoro (meaning "The Treasure") was first established in 1934 near the Cordova Bend of the Brazos River, an area rich in legends and history. It has since then offered activities such as swimming, canoeing, horseback riding (for summer camp only), fishing, archery, low ropes challenge course, etc.
Camp El Tesoro was recently featured on WFAA-TV's "Good Morning Texas" program.[1]
