[edit] Plot
The film follows a group of friends who go camping in the woods. They are then stalked by a killer in a clown mask and a boiler suit.
[edit] Production
Though released both sides of the Atlantic, the color in the UK release of the film is very distorted due to the conversion of the film from its original 3D coloring giving it a yellow tinge. This is very apparent at the more gruesome scenes as the red blood appears bright mustard.
[edit] Camp Blood 2
Camp Blood 2 was released just one year after its original and was even more successful than its first. This time however, the movie within a movie approach was taken to not separate it from the first movie, but to also poke fun at the original as well.
[edit] Camp Blood 3
Camp Blood 3 otherwise known as Within The Woods was released in 2005 and was not only better shot and edited, but was an overall more clever script, despite still having a dodgy ending.
