[edit] Biography

Camille Prats is the second child of Daniel Rafael Prats and the former Alma Quiambao and is also the niece of former actress Mia Prats. She has a sister and three brothers, one of whom is actor John Prats.

Camille Prats' first foray into show business came in 1990 when she was a contestant in "Little Miss Philippines", a popular segment of the variety show Eat Bulaga. This led to her regular appearances in ABS-CBN's children's program Ang TV.

In 1995, Camille Prats catapulted into fame when she starred in the movie Sarah...Ang Munting Prinsesa, a Philippine adaptation of the anime Princess Sarah, which was in turn based on Frances Hodgson Burnett children's novel A Little Princess.

As Camille Prats grew up, she appeared in sitcoms and teen-oriented dramas. But in 2006, she decided to shed her "Princess Sarah" image by posing for the Philippine edition of FHM Magazine.[1]

Camille Prats is currently seen in GMA Network television programs such as the weekly variety show SOP Gigsters, the telefantasya Super Twins and the sitcom Ganda ng Lola Ko (aired by Quality TeleVision, a subsidiary of GMA Network). Camille Prats is now a managed by ALV, and is now a contract artist of GMA Network.

Like her brother John Prats, young TV actress Camille Prats decided to go to the United States in September to finish her studies (taped interview with Startalk last July 14, 2007). Camille was first seen in showbiz in 1990 as a contestant in Eat Bulaga's "Little Miss Philippines." She later became a regular in the defunct TV show Ang TV on ABS-CBN. Then, from child star, Camille transformed into a grownup model by gracing the cover of FHM magazine last year. Camille's last regular TV show was Super Twins. She was also one of Richard Gutierrez's leading ladies in Captain Barbell.[2]

Last September 7, 2007, Alma Prats (Camille's mom) confirmed that she's months pregnant and she's in Los Angeles, California right now and Mrs. Prats denied that young director Paul Soriano (current boyfriend of TV Host Toni Gonzaga) was the father of Camille's unborn baby boy, due 2008[citation needed]. Anthony C. Linsangan, from AMA Makati and founder of Wheels Auto Performance, as mentioned by Camille's mother was the father of the kid.[3] Camille will be due on February 2008. On January, 2008, Prats confirmed her civil marriage with Anthony Linsangan on January 5 at Los Angeles, California. His father Dondi Prats went home to the Philippines.[4]Prats gave birth on January 25, 2008 to a healthy baby boy Nathaniel Ceasar or Nathan.[5]

In May, 2008, Prats became a teacher (as her new profession).[6]
