Camillagate

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Camillagate" was the name given to the scandal surrounding the affair between Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles. A key factor in the scandal was a tape of a sexually explicit telephone conversation between Charles and Camilla, made on December 18, 1989. The first transcript was published in the press towards the end of 1992.

In August, 2006, revelations of phone messages of the Royal Family being illegally accessed by the media were publicised, the accused being Clive Goodman of News of the World (see 2006 Phone Tapping Scandal).
