Camera Can't Lie is a rock band based out of Minneapolis, MN. They were discovered and are currently managed by Grammy Award-winning record producer, Stephen Short. The band is constantly on tour and have so far released a debut full-length album, Love the Noise, along with a critically acclaimed, self-titled EP. The name of Camera Can't Lie is often abbreviated as CCL. They play hundreds of shows each year and have shared the stage with acts including The Rocket Summer and This World Fair.

Camera Can't Lie, formed in Owatonna, Minnesota, were discovered and are currently managed by Grammy Award-winning record producer, Stephen Short.[1] The band originally went by the name Forgetful Grace.[2] Since October of 2007, they have been listed as one of the top unsigned bands in the United States according to the online music magazine, The Daily Chorus.[3]. The band has also consistently been the most-played band on PureVolume.com.[4]

Love The Noise was released independently in 2005 by Camera Can't Lie. It was later remixed in 2006 by producer Matt Goldman ( Copeland, Cartel).[5] It received wide-spread radio-play through Midwest indie stations.[6]

Camera Can't Lie EP is the latest album release from the band. It was produced in 2007 by Stephen Short ( Augustana,This World Fair). It is currently available at most online music stores including iTunes.

The Other Side of the Tracks

An upcoming song from Camera Can't Lie, titled "Losing You", will be featured and made available on the soundtrack for the 2008 independent mystery film, "The Other Side of the Tracks".[7]

In May of 2008 the band was signed to Atlantic Records, making them the newest band to be added to the label.
