Camasunary
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Camasunary refers to the homestead situated on the grassy platform of the raised beach, to the north east of the shore, at the bay known as Camas Fhionnairigh, meaning Bay of the White Shieling in Gaelic. This is a small bay on the Strathaird peninsula of the Isle of Skye, Scotland.
It is popular with hill walkers as it has a mountain bothy and has access to the Skye Munros.
An off-road vehicle track connects to Kirkibost. The bay is privately owned, although it sits in the middle of land owned by the John Muir Trust.
