[edit] Amazing vacation homes
A tag has been placed on Amazing Vacation Homes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MHDIV ɪŋglɪʃnɜː(r)d(Suggestion?|wanna chat?)
[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 00:24, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Proper formation of possessives
In a couple of recent edits to the Mars article, you have changed Mars's to Mars'. Your good intent is appreciated, but the original formation with the extra "s" is in fact correct, and there is no need to change any more instances of it. See, for example, the Chicago Manual of Style, [1]. Thanks, Dce7 05:00, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Roy L. Pearson, Jr.
Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Roy L. Pearson, Jr. are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. WLU 17:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Everyone does it at least once. My first month of contributions was in violation of at least half of the policies extant on wikipedia :) WLU 17:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
