- Are you a veteran user with a new username? If not, the article you posted on John Sanders is the most impressive first post I've ever seen from a user. Footnoted references, section headings, category tags, etc. Congrats.--Fuhghettaboutit 03:53, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Note that I posted the above by mistake on your userpage instead of your talk page. --Fuhghettaboutit 05:14, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help me for a second
I am applying for the National Honor Society at my school and need somebody from Wikipedia to write a short 1-2 paragraphs verfying that I have been doing things on wikipedia. Here are my contributions. Here is my edit count. I know you haven't known me for long, but, I sent a message to three other Wikipedians and they haven't responded. I need it in at least 12.5 hours from now. -- Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 07:15, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- Wow!!! Very, nice. I've awarded you the Plenary Indulgence award. You are the only one that was nice enough to do that out of 6 people.-- User:Mac_Davis

- Hey! You removed it! Even though I am Athiest, I appreciate when people say bless you when I sneeze or give me their blessing. How would you like the PSI award? -- Mac

- I didn't remove it; check my page history. Maybe you tried to post it and it didn't take? Sorry about the confusion; I was just joking about the Protestant thing. I mean, I am a Protestant, but that wouldn't stop me from accepting blessings and plenary indulgences from people of all religious (or nonreligious) persuasions! God bless and have a great day! *mischievous grin* By the way, you've been getting a ham sandwich for several days now. Might want to switch your away message, lol. So hey, you a high school student? [edit] John Sanders (again)
I was about to start writing an article on a different John Sanders (this one [1]) and in doing some preliminary searching I came across "your" John Sanders. I also came across some incorret links into that article from Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Duke Ellington Songbook (seeking a trombonist of the same name), and List of historic buildings and architects of the United Kingdom (an architect). It seems to me that none of these have an over-whelming case to be seen as the most likely to be sought by a random user entering the name in the Wikipedia search box (per Wp:disambiguation) so it would make the most sense to move the existing John Sanders article to a new title, John E. Sanders would perhaps be the most natural choice, although John Sanders (theologian would be an alternative, and convert the existing John Sanders page into a disambiguation page. Do you have nay objection to this (or any alternative suggestions)? I would of course ensure that any existing links in articles would point to the new article title.
