[edit] In the Heat of the Night

No, the articles are not plagarised. If I had lifted directly from tv.com, I would have just copied and pasted directly from the episode synopsis from each article. I was quite careful not to do that, and to ensure that the articles were in my own words. If you want to continue to make accusations against me, then I think I'll need to take the formal dispute resolution process found here in Wikipedia.

[edit] Re: What to do about plagerism?

First, revert the changes. Second, I have noticed you have already tried to contact the user in question, so try including diffs and the source page on the user's talk page. If that doesn't work, either file a request for comment or post a message on WP:ANI. The latter is a better choice to get a quick response from the community. Make sure you include the diffs and the page it was stolen from in your complaint, as generally people aren't going to take the time to track that down themselves. If there is plagiarism, I assure you that it will be handled by the Wikipedia community, so I would bring it up here rather than through CNet. To be honest, you'd probably be more successful in getting this problem dealt with through Wikipedia than CNet as plagiarism isn't tolerated here. I haven't been on WP much the past few weeks and that probably won't change for at least a few more weeks as I have just been swamped in real life. If you need anymore advice, I suggest you drop a line on a more active admin's talk page and s/he will probably be able to better assist you. Hopefully you are able to resolve this matter quickly. Cheers! --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 01:35, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

I am happy to hear this has been resolved. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 09:56, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
