The sentence "In 1844 Kingsley successfully debated someone of the Universalist faith, an overwhelming triumph deserving of the thanks of all denominations." does not conform to wikipedia's principle of Neutral point of view. (Universalists could be expected to strongly disagree with the sentiment!).
I have therefore removed everything after the word "faith", so that the sentence now reads "In 1844 Kingsley successfully debated someone of the Universalist faith".
