[edit] Personal per capita income
I've removed the italicised portion of the following sentence from the article:
- California is the thirteenth-richest state in the United States of America, with a per capita income of $22,711 (2000) and a personal per capita income of $33,749 (2003).
The "personal per capita income" wikilink redirects to the "per capita income" page, and I see no explanation on that page of the difference between the two figures. All the other figures in the lists (so far as I've checked them) are from the 2000 census, so I'm not sure why the 2003 figure was even there, but, in any case, if "personal per capita income" is to be included then there needs to be an explanation (or a link to an explanation) of how it differs from ordinary per capita income. Not everybody reading the article is going to be familiar with these concepts. Whyaduck 03:27, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
