[edit] Alternate name(s)

Part of California State Route 12 west of Interstate 80 at Cordelia Junction is called Jamison Canyon Road. Traffic reports on the local radio (KCBS 740 AM} refers to Route 12 as that. This is a good clarification for those who are puzzled about what Jamison Canyon Road is. --Geopgeop 11:57, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] State Route 160

Route 12 intersects State Route 160 just outside Rio Vista across the Sacramento River. I feel this particular junction is a major junction worthy for inclusion in the routebox. (There's even traffic signals at this junction.) --Geopgeop 03:42, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] State Route 80 shield

Can somebody please publish off-site about the incorrect State Route 80 shield for the "TO 80 EAST SACRAMENTO - CHADBOURNE ROAD - FAIRFIELD AUTO MALL" sign on westbound 12? The shield in question is supposed to be a red, white and blue Interstate shield, not the green miners' spade California shield. I want to conform to no original research, and yet I see that sign frequently on that stretch of road. Pictures would be nice. (For the location, it's past the Jelly Belly Factory going westbound.) --Geopgeop 10:26, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Ya know, never mind, I posted today on Commons the picture: Image:I-80 Chadbourne.jpg. I realized that the "no original research" policy doesn't apply to images, in fact images are encouraged. Anyways, what do you think? --Geopgeop 18:02, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
That's really not a reason to show it in the exit list though. --SPUI (T - C) 23:18, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
The sign's been fixed with the correct shield... ehh. --Geopgeop 08:38, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jameson Canyon Road

It's mentioned frequently on radio traffic reports, being the section of SR 12 between SR 29 and I-80. It should be noted because I don't hear it id'd as SR 12 much on the reports and it is not marked as Jameson Canyon Road on I-80 guide signs. --Geopgeop 08:55, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Argh, I already wrote about this above, and the spelling is ehh, ah never mind.... --Geopgeop 08:58, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
