[edit] maglev vs track upgrades

How in the world can maglev be a good alternative to track upgrades if the problem with the track upgrades is that they are too expensive? AFAIK, maglev is even more expensive than building high quality track. Is there a source that can be cited for this claim? JNW2 (talk) 01:20, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
