[edit] Alumni Notability

A point of clarification for other editors: I've used the Baseball project's definition of notability for baseball players: they must have either (a) appeared on a major league roster, (b) played AAA ball for one full season, (c) played in a minor league all star game, or (d) won a "major" minor league award (e.g. league MVP). Since the league is only three years old and most players are college freshmen and sophomores, not many of their careers have reached the "notable" stage yet.

One also has to be careful because several teams in the CRSCBL existed prior to the formation of the league. For example, the Bethesda Big Train were organized in late 1997 and played in the Clark Griffith League from 1998 to 2004. Several of their pre-2005 alumni are notable according to the definition given above. When I (or someone) writes the Big Train article, their notable player list will show players not listed here and I guess the article will have to clarify that.
