Calvin Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Calvin Hall is a building on the campus of Kansas State University. The building was erected in 1908 and currently houses the department of Accounting [1], the College of Business Administration, [2], the department of Finance [3], the Center for Leadership [4], the department of Management [5], and the department of Marketing [6].

Calvin Hall was originally constructed as the Domestic Science and Art Hall. The building is named in honor of Henrietta Willard Calvin, a librarian and professor of Domestic Science. The department of Economics also found its home in this building after it outgrew Kedzie Hall. The building was remodeled in 1960 when the College of Business Administration moved into it after the College of Home Economics moved into Justin Hall.
