Calvatone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 110 km southeast of Milan and about 35 km east of Cremona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,285 and an area of 13.5 km².[1]
Calvatone borders the following municipalities: Acquanegra sul Chiese, Bozzolo, Canneto sull'Oglio, Piadena, Tornata. In AD 69 the Battle of Bedriacum was fought nearby.
