Callochiton mortenseni is a species of chiton in the family Callochitonidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Campbell Island.

[edit] Description
The shell is moderately large, with a smooth surface except for small pits along the upper margin of the lateral areas.
Coloration is uniformly dark reddish-brown.
Length is up to 26 mm, and the width is up to 16 mm.
