Callixte Kalimanzira

Callixte Kalimanzira was the Interior Minister of the interim government of Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. He is accused of participating in the massacre of thousands of Tutsi refugees who had sought his protection. The massacre was carried out by soldiers and militias on a hill in Kibuye, in the west of the country. Kalimanzara is currently on trial at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, where he has pleaded not guilty to all charges.[1]
