Callinectes ornatus is a species of swimming crab. Their shell color are light yellow-brown color. The lower tip of the claw are blue. They can be sometimes red-brown colored. The shell two spikes on each side of its shell are not as long as the Blue crabs. They can be found in the western Atlantic ocean as well the Caribbean coastlines. They are not commonly used in the commercial fishing like the Blue crab. Their diet are small crustaceans, small fish. They are also scavengers.
