Call time

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In theater, a call time is the time when cast and/or crew members are expected to be at the performance venue before a show. Some times a call time is established for the entire cast and crew, but more commonly there is a separate time for each group. Generally, the stage manager is in charge of deciding, distributing, and enforcing the call time. Depending on their contract, performers may be penalized for not being in the venue by their call time.
