From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 2002 California lieutenant governor election occurred on November 5, 2002. The primary elections took place on March 5, 2002. The Democratic incumbent, Cruz Bustamante, defeated the Republican nominee, State Senator Bruce McPherson. (Both Bustamante and McPherson faced token primary opposition.) Donna Warren was the Green Party nominee, Pat Wright was the Libertarian Party nominee, Paul Hanosh was the Reform Party nominee, Jim King was the American Independent Party nominee, and Kalee Przybylak was the Natural Law Party nominee.
