State Route 229 is a short state highway in California, USA, which runs from State Route 58 to State Route 41.
[edit] Route description
SR 229 is a very short rural road in San Luis Obispo County. The southern terminus is at SR 58, a few miles east of U.S. Route 101. The road is extremely windy, and mostly less than a full two lanes wide. The northern terminus of the route is at SR 41 east of Atascadero.
In combination with SR 41, the route may be used as a slower route between San Luis Obispo and the San Joaquin Valley than State Route 46 from Paso Robles.
