[edit] Accreditation
The institution claims "accreditation" from the Association of Christian Colleges and Theological Schools (ACCTS).[2] However, ACCTS is not a recognized higher education accreditor in the United States.[3]
Furthermore, Pacific International University notes on its webpage that approval by groups including ACCTS "do NOT constitute accreditation by the U.S. Office of Education."[1]
The California Pacific School of Theology states that "academic degrees are awarded by Pacific International University, which is located in Australia and Missouri and officially chartered for degree giving purposes by the state of Missouri."[2] Pacific International University itself lacks educational accreditation. The states of Michigan and Oregon noted that diplomas from this institution are not recognized degrees and may be fraudulent to claim as equivalent to four-year degrees.[2]
