Established in 1870, the California Dental Association, more commonly known as CDA, is composed of more than 20,000 dentists.
[edit] Vision Statement
According to its vision statement the organization is meant:
- to be the source of inspiration, motivation, empowerment and pride for oral health care professionals,
- to embody spirit of respect, synergistic cooperation and commitment,
- to promote the health of the public, the profession and the individuals it serves through public policy, advocacy, education and other means.
The first item implies that the CDA holds itself to be the source of those things for all of that group wherever they may be.
The second item passeth all understanding.
The third's list with "other means" could well be replaced by "all means".
There seems to be no mention of fair value for cost.
