California's 8th Assembly District is one of 80 districts in the California State Assembly. It is currently represented by Democrat Lois Wolk of Davis.

The district currently consists of two-thirds of Solano County (including the cities of Benicia, Dixon, Elmira, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, and Vacaville), and almost all of Yolo County (including the cities of Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, and Woodland).

The 8th district is a strongly Democratic district, with 47.7% of registered voters being registered Democrats and 31.1% registered Republicans.
