Calico Mountains (California)

The Calico Mountains of California are located just north of Interstate 15 in the Mojave Desert. The range lies in a northwest-southeast direction just north of the town of Yermo, and reaches an elevation of 4,542 feet at Calico Peak. The Calico Ghost Town lies at the western edge of the mountains. Pickhandle Pass and Jackhammer Gap lie at the northern end of the mountains on Fort Irwin Road.
