The Calico M100 is a blowback operated semi-automatic rifle/carbine (M100) or pistol (M100-P) chambered in .22 LR or 9mm, manufactured by Calico Light Weapons Systems in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA and possessing a unique 100-round helical-fed magazine mounted on top of the weapon. The introduction of the Federal assault weapons ban made manufacture of the Calico family of weapons for sale to civilians illegal due to the high magazine capacity, but now that that legislation has expired the company is free to build the exotic firearms in their original configuration.
